Regional Truck Driver
About The Position
Serta Simmons Bedding is accepting applications for driver positions in its talent pool and will contact candidates when a position matching their qualifications becomes available. The position is based in West Coxsackie, New York, and involves regional and local routes. Drivers are out two to three nights per week and have time off over the weekend. The work includes partial-touch freight, requiring drivers to tailgate freight with the help of a cart, and drivers receive an assigned late-model truck. The listed pay is $1,300–$1,800 per week, depending on hours and route, with potential for a $500 quarterly bonus. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered, excluding rehires and trainees.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL and a clean driving record.
- Two years of verifiable Class A CDL experience; candidates with less than two years may be considered for the training program.
- At least 21 years old and DOT qualified.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to handle tailgating freight with the help of a cart.
