Regional Truck Driver
About The Position
Serta Simmons Bedding is accepting applications for its driver talent pool and will contact applicants when a position matching their qualifications becomes available. The role is based in Grovetown, Georgia, and involves regional and local routes. Drivers are typically out two to three nights per week and have time off over the weekend. The schedule is full-time, with 40–70 hours per week. Freight is partially touch freight and requires driver tailgating, using a cart. Drivers receive an assigned late-model truck. Pay is $1,300–$1,800 per week, depending on hours and route, with potential for a quarterly bonus of $500. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is available, except for rehires and trainees.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL and a clean driving record.
- Two years of verifiable Class A CDL experience; applicants with less than two years may be considered for a training program.
- At least 21 years old and DOT qualified.
- Ability to handle tailgating freight with the help of a cart.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
