About The Position

Cranial Technologies is seeking a Regional Traveling Certified Orthotist for a full-time position based out of Sacramento, CA. This role involves traveling throughout Northern California clinics to treat infants with plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) using the DOC Band® and correct ear shapes with EarWell®. The position is in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting, working exclusively with infants and their families. This is a unique opportunity to specialize in a non-traditional, niche area of pediatric orthotics. Clinicians are viewed as experts in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and misshapen ears, developing strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process. The company hires from diverse backgrounds, valuing the unique perspectives of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Registered Nurses, and Certified Prosthetists and Orthotists. While pediatric experience is preferred, it is not required due to a formal training program with mentoring.

Requirements

Certified Orthotists only
500 hours of basic orthotic fitting experience with off-the-shelf orthotic devices (e.g. splints, braces, maternity belts)
Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
