About The Position

Cranial Technologies is seeking a Regional Traveling Certified Orthotist for a full-time position based out of San Jose, CA. This role involves travel throughout Northern California clinics, including Sacramento, San Francisco, Mountain View, San Jose, Oakland, Stockton, and Fresno. The position is in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting, working exclusively with infants to treat plagiocephaly with the DOC Band® and correct ear shapes with EarWell®. This is a unique opportunity to specialize in a non-traditional, niche area of pediatric orthotics, developing strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process. The company values diverse backgrounds and offers a formal training program with mentoring, even for those without prior pediatric experience.

Requirements

• Certified Orthotists only
• 500 hours of basic orthotic fitting experience with off-the-shelf orthotic devices (e.g. splints, braces, maternity belts)
• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band®
• Correct ear shapes with EarWell®
• Evaluate and treat plagiocephaly and conditions involving misshapen ears
• Develop relationships with families at every stage of their treatment process
