About The Position

Cranial Technologies is the world leader in researching and treating plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) and is the only company completely dedicated to this. With over 300,000 babies successfully treated, we are the experts in pediatric cranial shaping orthoses. We also offer the EarWell® system for non-surgical correction of infant ear shapes, with over 600,000 successful outcomes. We are seeking a full-time Regional Traveling Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist based in Stockton, CA, to serve our Northern California clinics (Sacramento, San Francisco, Mountain View, San Jose, Oakland, Stockton, Fresno). This role involves some overnights and is situated in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting, focusing exclusively on infants. This is a unique opportunity to specialize in a non-traditional, niche area of orthotics and prosthetics, working with infants and their families. As a Clinician, you will treat infants using the DOC Band® for head reshaping and EarWell® for ear correction. You will be recognized as an expert in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and misshapen ears, building strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process. We welcome diverse backgrounds, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Registered Nurses, and Certified Prosthetists/Orthotists, valuing their unique skills and experiences. While pediatric experience is preferred, it's not required due to our formal training and mentoring program.

Requirements

  • Certified Prosthetist-Orthotists only
  • 500 hours of basic orthotic fitting experience with off-the-shelf orthotic devices (e.g. splints, braces, maternity belts)
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric experience a plus
  • Backgrounds in PT, OT, RN are also considered due to relevant knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities
