About The Position

Cranial Technologies is the world's only company dedicated to researching and treating plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome), with over 300,000 babies successfully treated. They are the leader in pediatric cranial shaping orthoses. Cranial Technologies also offers the EarWell® system for non-surgical correction of infant ear shapes, boasting over 600,000 successful outcomes. The company is seeking a full-time Regional Traveling Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist based in Oakland, CA, who will travel to all Northern California clinics (Sacramento, San Francisco, Mountain View, San Jose, Oakland, Stockton, Fresno). This role involves some overnight travel and is situated in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting, working exclusively with infants. It offers a unique opportunity to specialize in a non-traditional, niche area of orthotics and prosthetics, focusing on treating infants and their families. As a Clinician, you will use the DOC Band® to reshape head shapes and EarWell® to correct ear shapes. Pediatricians and parents recognize Cranial Technologies' Clinicians as experts in evaluating and treating plagiocephaly and misshapen ears. The role involves building strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process. The company values diverse backgrounds, noting that PTs, OTs, Registered Nurses, and Certified Prosthetists/Orthotists are all strong fits due to their relevant experience. While pediatric experience is preferred, it is not required due to a formal training program with mentoring.
