About The Position

Cranial Technologies is the world leader in researching and treating plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) and is dedicated to pediatric cranial shaping orthoses. With over 300,000 babies successfully treated, we are the experts in this field. We also offer the EarWell® treatment for infant ear shape correction, with over 600,000 successful outcomes. We are seeking a full-time Regional Traveling Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist based in San Jose, CA, to travel throughout our Northern California clinics (Sacramento, San Francisco, Mountain View, San Jose, Oakland, Stockton, Fresno). This role involves some overnights and is situated in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting, exclusively working with infants. This is a unique opportunity to specialize in a non-traditional, niche area of orthotics and prosthetics, focusing on treating infants and their families with the DOC Band® for head shapes and EarWell® for ear shapes. Clinicians are recognized as experts by pediatricians and parents in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and misshapen ears, building strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, including PTs, OTs, Registered Nurses, and Certified Prosthetists and Orthotists, valuing their unique skill sets. While pediatric experience is preferred, it is not required due to our formal training and mentoring program.
