About The Position

Lakeshore is seeking an energetic, talented Regional Sales Manager to expand its reach in the K–12 educational market. The role develops new and existing relationships with school districts and educational programs, serving customers in early childhood and education while exploring middle school and high school markets. The manager is responsible for a designated geographic territory, which may include multiple states, and works with sales support and marketing teams to grow business. Compensation includes a base salary and uncapped commissions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of successful sales experience and proven entrepreneurial know-how.
• Solid presentation skills and ability to speak to customer needs at all levels.
• Strong work ethic and team-player mentality.
• Ability to perform outstanding work from home.
• Ability to travel within the territory as needed, including approximately 30% overnight stays.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
• Great attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Ideally resides in the Dayton, Cincinnati, or Columbus areas.

Responsibilities

• Secure new and repeat business by building strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the assigned geographical area.
• Partner with internal sales resources to support customer needs and increase business.
• Call on customers in the assigned territory and build and maintain relationships with them.
• Collaborate with the RVP/RD to build, adjust, and drive sales strategies.
• Target key customers and assess and uncover their needs.
• Communicate respectfully, effectively, concisely, and clearly with internal partners through regular meetings with HQ departments and sales channels to streamline communication, build relationships, and increase sales.
• Participate in local, state, and national conferences to promote the Lakeshore brand.
