About The Position

Lakeshore is seeking an energetic and talented Regional Sales Manager to expand its reach in the K–12 educational market. The role builds and cultivates relationships with school districts and educational programs, serving customers in early childhood and education while exploring market segments such as middle and high schools. The manager is responsible for an assigned geographic territory, which may include multiple states, and works with internal sales resources and company departments to support customers and grow business. Compensation includes a base salary and uncapped commissions, with sales support and marketing resources provided.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of successful sales experience and proven entrepreneurial know-how.
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to speak to customer needs at all levels.
• Strong work ethic and team-player mentality.
• Ability to perform outstanding work from home.
• Ability to travel within the territory as needed, including approximately 30% overnight stays.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
• Great attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Candidates ideally reside in the Dayton, Cincinnati, or Columbus areas.

Responsibilities

• Secure new and repeat business by building strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the designated geographic area.
• Partner with internal sales resources to support customer needs and increase business.
• Consistently call on, build, and maintain relationships with customers within the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with the RVP/RD to build, adjust, and drive sales strategies.
• Target key customers and assess and uncover their needs.
• Communicate respectfully, effectively, concisely, and clearly with internal partners in regular meetings with HQ departments and sales channels to streamline communication, build relationships, and increase sales.
• Participate in local, state, and national conferences to promote the Lakeshore brand.
