About The Position

Spartan Staffing Solutions has partnered with a leader in Ariel Equipment sales. Together we are in search of a Regional Sales Manager to join their team in the Southeastern States. This role involves identifying potential new customers, securing new fleet and utility customers, conducting calls, prospecting visits, and presentations. The manager will also participate in trade shows and corporate events, maintain regular customer relationships with personalized follow-up, and present the company's fleet, products, and services. A key aspect of the role is proactively identifying customer needs for fleet expansion or replacement and submitting suitable offers, as well as following up on marketing-generated opportunities. The position requires performing demonstrations and technical presentations, negotiating and closing sales to meet objectives, and protecting pricing integrity and margin to drive equipment, parts, and service revenue. Accurate documentation of all sales activities in CRM and maintaining an up-to-date customer database are essential. The role also includes producing sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses, and staying informed about offered equipment and new features, including testing machines and learning basic functions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in heavy equipment, industrial, or utility sales.
  • Strong B2B technical selling skills; fleet, municipal, or contractor experience preferred.
  • Proven track record in prospecting, territory development, and margin-driven sales.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within territory.
  • English required; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM - Asset.
  • Good presentation (professionalism, courtesy).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Organized, resourceful, autonomous and rigorous.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential new customers in the assigned territory.
  • Secure new fleet and utility customers.
  • Conduct calls, prospecting visits and presentations.
  • Participate in trade shows, trade shows and corporate events.
  • Maintain regular relationships and ensure personalized follow-up.
  • Present the fleet as well as the other products and services offered by the company.
  • Proactively identify customer needs (expansion or partial replacement of the equipment fleet) and submit suitable offers.
  • Ensure follow-ups from opportunities generated by the marketing department.
  • Perform demonstrations and technical presentations.
  • Negotiate and close sales according to set objectives.
  • Protect pricing integrity and margin.
  • Drive equipment, parts and service revenue.
  • Document all prospecting, follow-up, and sales activities in CRM.
  • Maintain a complete and up-to-date customer database.
