The Regional Sales Manager is a critical role in each sales region across Canada, reporting to and being second in command to the Regional Vice President (RVP). This role is instrumental in driving sales, developing the team, and building strategy for future sales growth. The manager will support the RVP in all activities related to achieving sales targets and business plan goals, directly leading regional Mortgage Specialists, supporting their sales efforts, and assisting in achieving overall regional sales targets. A thorough understanding of the mortgage sales process, underwriting guidelines, and business flow is required. The role also involves driving strategy and implementing changes to achieve cross-sell objectives for deposit products, credit card sales, creditor insurance sales, and more. The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert in mortgage-related sales, a strong people leader with proven ability to motivate and develop sales teams, possesses strong time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills, is flexible and agile, adapts quickly to change, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced, self-starter environment.
