About The Position

ROCKWOOL is seeking a Regional Sales Manager, Eastern Canada to join their Sales team. The ideal candidate will be based in Quebec with a territory covering Ottawa/Gatineau, Quebec, and the Atlantic Canada provinces (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland & Labrador). This position reports to the Director of Sales, has 3 direct reports and requires 40% overnight travel. This is an opportunity to lead a high-performing sales team while also playing a key role in translating data into regional growth strategies, driving market expansion, and enhancing the customer experience through actionable insights. This role is ideal for a sales leader who combines commercial acumen, leadership capability, and data literacy—someone who thrives at the intersection of people, performance, and strategy. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in a multi-region or B2B environment.
  • Strong expertise in the building materials sector and construction processes.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute data-driven sales strategies.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams through change and digital transformation.
  • Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience using CRM and BI tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a regional business plan aligned with national sales strategy and organizational objectives.
  • Identify emerging market trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities using data-driven insights.
  • Partner with marketing, finance, and product teams to shape go-to-market strategies and optimize regional performance.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture based on accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Develop team capability in data interpretation, forecasting, and consultative selling.
  • Leverage CRM and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) to analyze performance, track KPIs, and support decision-making.
  • Translate sales data into actionable insights to optimize territory coverage, pricing strategies, and channel mix.
  • Use predictive analytics to improve forecasting accuracy and sales productivity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key regional customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Represent the company at regional market activities, trade shows, and strategic customer reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, supply chain) to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Identify and champion opportunities to digitize sales processes and enhance data utilization.
  • Support the implementation of new tools and dashboards that improve transparency and efficiency.
  • Contribute to company-wide initiatives that evolve the sales organization into a more strategic, insight-led function.

  • The base salary range for this position is $125,000 – $135,000.
  • This position is bonus eligible.
