About The Position

This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Regional Sales Manager based near New York City with Modular, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting. Responsible for planning and implementing locally relevant sales & distribution strategy to drive growth and market share. Develops and drives credibility and long-term relationships with customers and the A&D community in the region in order to build a strong pipeline and fulfill sales objectives. Partners with agents, reps and dealers to make joint calls with specifiers. Achieves revenue, margins and sales productivity efficiencies targets within the assigned geographical area. Maximize sales opportunities by creating demand through Modular named specifications. Train agents, reps and dealers on MLI brand, products and sales tools.

Requirements

  • 5+ years commercial sales across a multi-state territory
  • Bachelor's Degree or years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Proven track record in key account management and consultative selling principles in a fast-paced technology or architectural industry
  • Physically located within greater NYC/NJ/Long Island vicinity
  • Technical understanding of lighting requirements, LEDs, and lighting controls
  • Proven track record in customer relationship building with designers, reps, EDs and builders
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.
