About The Position

Videndum is an international group serving customers in the "image capture and content creation" market, manufacturing and distributing technically advanced products. This role is ideal for someone with experience in the broadcast and media production market or a capable B2B salesperson looking to transition into this industry. The position involves working with well-known industry brands and deepening customer intimacy within one of Videndum's largest regions. The role requires an enterprising, ambitious, and motivated individual to become the go-to person for broadcast and media production. Existing relationships are an advantage, but networking ability is more important. The role involves working directly with end users and system integrators to create demand for Videndum products and solutions, ensuring Videndum is well-positioned for tenders and projects. The ideal candidate is strategic, data-driven, and comfortable with technical discussions. While existing product knowledge is advantageous, self-motivation and a willingness to learn are critical. The role is home-office based, requiring 50% customer-facing time in the region, with occasional trips for training and meetings. Proximity to major broadcast and media production hubs is a plus.

Requirements

  • Highly results and performance driven, with a track record of achieving targets and objectives.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to network and build relationships at multiple levels within a customer account.
  • B2B sales experience.
  • Proficient with MS Office and customer relationship management systems such as Salesforce.
  • Ability to work directly with end users to influence tenders, in collaboration with channel partners and system integrators.
  • Fluent in English and used to working comfortably in an English-speaking organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the sales of Videndum products with a focus on broadcast, associated segments, and new B2B segments.
  • Support sales management on projects as required.
  • Build strong relationships with broadcast and media production customers and associated channel partners.
  • Find and develop new B2B customers for Videndum products and solutions.
  • Demonstrate Videndum products, operationally and technically, to end customers and system integrators.
  • Achieve defined sales revenue targets.
  • Use CRM tools to demonstrate sales proficiency and ensure sufficient opportunity pipeline.
  • Develop and execute a sales plan to improve relationships with key customers in the defined territory and/or accounts.
  • Create and build a network within strategically important B2B customers.
  • Become a product/segment expert within broadcast and media production, advising product managers on industry trends, competition, and strategic market shifts.
  • Support local events and tradeshows as requested.
  • Take the lead on tenders, qualifying bids and proposals, managing the assembled bid team, and being responsible for the sales win strategy, including pricing requests.
