About The Position

Computrition, Inc. is seeking an outcome-driven enterprise business consultant to generate new-logo growth in the non-commercial foodservice technology sector. The Regional Sales Director owns the full sales lifecycle for the company’s core cloud-based platform and associated services, primarily serving healthcare and higher education markets. This is an individual-contributor, quota-focused new-business acquisition role responsible for capturing market share and delivering measurable, value-based outcomes. The ideal candidate resides in the assigned geographic territory and has a working understanding of nutrition and foodservice operations in the markets served. The role involves building and managing a regional pipeline, researching prospects, identifying operational and financial performance gaps, and presenting tailored proposals that demonstrate return on investment. The director engages executive buyers and other stakeholders, manages complex and lengthy sales processes, navigates RFPs and procurement, and collaborates with solution specialists, implementation, and marketing partners. The position is field-based and requires travel within the assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of sales experience, or senior-level operational experience in a hospital nutrition-services department or campus dining operation.
  • Experience developing strategic accounts and presenting to C-suite audiences in a non-commercial acute healthcare or higher education environment.
  • Demonstrated success placing nutrition and foodservice technology solutions in a sales or operations capacity.
  • Experience analyzing customer or departmental requirements and aligning them with foodservice IT services.
  • Solid understanding of, or experience administering, non-commercial foodservice or nutrition-services software solutions.
  • Excellent written, verbal, listening, and presentation skills for technical and executive audiences.
  • Proficiency with CRM and standard sales-productivity tools for managing activity, pipeline, and forecasting.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, solutions-oriented, and consistently able to meet or exceed targets.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Ability to manage consultative, complex solution sales; build and defend ROI-based business cases; navigate RFPs and procurement; engage executives; maintain pipeline and forecast discipline; and close business.

Nice To Haves

  • Post-secondary education is preferred.
  • Prior knowledge or experience in foodservice operations, healthcare facilities, higher-education dining programs, production kitchens, or related software systems.
  • Depth of expertise in either acute healthcare or higher education, with the ability to ramp up quickly in the other market; fluency in both is a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge of hospital foodservice and clinical nutrition workflows, including diet office operations, room-service models, and registered dietitians.
  • Familiarity with IDNs, health systems, GPOs, and how purchasing decisions flow through them.
  • Awareness of healthcare regulatory and accreditation requirements, such as Joint Commission and CMS, and clinical data-sensitivity expectations.
  • Knowledge of campus dining and auxiliary or business-services purchasing environments.
  • Understanding of self-operated versus contract-managed campus dining and providers such as Aramark, Sodexo, and Compass.
  • Familiarity with academic budgeting and fiscal-year purchasing windows.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospect engagement and qualification through opportunity development and closing new-logo enterprise deals.
  • Self-source and build a regional sales pipeline, with support from marketing, solution specialists, and the company’s market credibility.
  • Use AI-powered research to develop data-driven prospect insights, including financial performance, technology objectives, competitive pressures, and decision-making stakeholders.
  • Identify prospect KPI objectives and performance gaps, and position Computrition’s platform as a results-driven solution.
  • Develop and present tailored, ROI-backed proposals addressing regulatory compliance, patron satisfaction, labor efficiency, expense reduction, and revenue generation.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and executive briefings to generate qualified pipeline and new business.
  • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, formal RFPs, procurement processes, committee approvals, contract review, negotiation, and execution.
  • Engage and influence C-suite executives and economic buyers, including CFOs, CNOs, and vice presidents of auxiliary or business services.
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and dependable forecasts for large, complex enterprise opportunities.
  • Translate technical capabilities into persuasive demonstrations and presentations tailored to different audiences.
  • Plan, prioritize, and grow the assigned territory.
  • Coordinate with solution specialists, implementation, and marketing partners at appropriate stages of the sales process.
  • Analyze customer and departmental operations and requirements to align prospect needs with appropriate foodservice IT solutions.
  • Organize a field-based schedule and manage required travel within the territory.
