About The Position

Champion Homes is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to support the execution of enterprise-wide safety initiatives across multiple manufacturing and operational locations. This role partners closely with field leadership to drive a proactive safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and continuously improve safety performance. The Regional Safety Manager will serve as a subject matter expert, influencing site leaders and employees to adopt best practices that protect people, property, and the environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree (B.A.) or Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; FIVE plus years related experience and/or training in the housing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and vendors.
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and general environmental compliance requirements
  • Proven experience conducting investigations, audits, and safety program implementation
  • Ability to influence, coach, and motivate employees and leaders at all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using safety metrics and data
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while supporting multiple locations

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site visits and safety audits across assigned regions to evaluate compliance, identify risks, and drive corrective actions
  • Partner with plant and operational leadership to assess, develop, and improve safety programs, procedures, and policies
  • Lead incident investigations, including injuries, near-misses, and property damage, to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Analyze incident data, trends, and safety metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and track performance progress
  • Deliver and support safety training programs for employees, leaders, and contractors to build capability and awareness
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA and environmental standards
  • Monitor regulatory changes and recommend updates to policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Support environmental, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives, including permitting and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement safe material handling processes and operational improvements
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership teams, influencing behaviors and promoting a strong safety culture
  • Participate in corporate safety initiatives, projects, and continuous improvement efforts
