About The Position

HH Red Stone is a fast-growing property management company seeking an experienced Regional Property Manager to lead its Washington, DC portfolio. This high-visibility role involves overseeing multiple communities and driving performance across operations, financials, and team leadership. The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex operational challenges, and is motivated by building high-performing teams and maximizing asset value.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in residential or multifamily property management
  • 3+ years in a multi-site or regional leadership role
  • Strong financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, NOI performance)
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive operational results across multiple assets
  • Experience navigating fast-paced environments and property transitions
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the DC portfolio

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations across multiple properties within the DC portfolio
  • Ensure consistent execution of company standards, policies, and service expectations
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess performance, property condition, and team effectiveness
  • Partner with on-site teams to drive leasing performance, resident satisfaction, and operational efficiency
  • Oversee budgets, forecasts, and financial performance across the portfolio
  • Analyze variances and implement strategies to improve revenue and control expenses
  • Drive NOI growth through leasing strategy, pricing alignment, and cost management
  • Directly manage and develop Property Managers and Senior Property Managers
  • Recruit, train, and mentor high-performing teams
  • Step into properties during transitions, vacancies, or critical operational needs
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
  • Provide leadership and oversight for annual turn and peak operational periods
  • Ensure properties are prepared, staffed, and executed on time and within budget
  • Troubleshoot operational challenges in real-time and implement solutions quickly
  • Ensure full compliance with DC and federal housing regulations, including Fair Housing
  • Partner with internal teams to manage risk, audits, and escalated resident issues
  • Work closely with asset management, marketing, accounting, and HR teams
  • Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
