About The Position

The Regional Production Specialist will contribute to AIG’s Middle Market Property team by taking ownership of goals and outcomes, handling complex underwriting, and overseeing programs and processes. The role includes mentoring colleagues and helping foster collaboration, inclusion, and learning through effective role modeling and support for colleagues’ growth and career development.

The specialist will balance the needs of multiple stakeholders and make sound decisions informed by data, analysis, experience, judgment, and a risk mindset. They will build effective broker relationships and deliver high-quality customer service, while supporting new business development by attending broker events and developing relationships across the market. The position is primarily office-based to support in-person collaboration.

Requirements

• Underwriting or broking experience in property; property and/or Inland Marine experience will also be considered.
• A successful record of selling products to clients.
• Deep technical expertise.
• Proven people management skills and a record of developing more junior colleagues.
• Ability to analyze financial statements.
• Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Customer- and sales-oriented behaviors, including motivation, tenacity, focus, technical skill, proactivity, and accountability.

• Property underwriting or broking experience is preferred.
