How You’ll Make an Impact Lead the implementation and adoption of standardized sequencing processes across plants through strong stakeholder engagement and targeted change initiatives. Drive continuous improvement by conducting regular process evaluations, defining strategic roadmaps, and ensuring sustainable process enhancements. Partner with plant sequencing teams, MSM, LKUs, RKUs, and cross-functional stakeholders (PO, PI, IE, PE, Production) to align on KPIs and elevate planning process maturity and efficiency. Act as a key influencer within the AM region sequencing community, fostering collaboration and contributing to the development of future standards. Own sequencing performance accountability, ensuring adherence to established standards that meet customer requirements and stakeholder expectations. Provide expert consultation and structured problem-solving support through in-depth process assessments, data analysis, and operational reviews. Guide plants through pilot and test phases, evaluating adjusted process steps and parameters to drive optimized outcomes. Develop and deliver impactful training programs, leveraging standardized documentation and enhancing learning through the Tire Campus platform with eLearning and video content. Strengthen onboarding and capability building by providing clear guidelines, training frameworks, and sequencing knowledge resources across locations. Champion knowledge sharing by building an engaged sequencing community, facilitating regional forums, and promoting best practice exchange with pathways to global adoption (e.g., PICR submissions). NOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed. THE ENVIRONMENT Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as steel toes, hearing protection and eye protection where required. This role takes place in a department with fluctuating temperatures and material exposure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a tire manufacturing process-related environment or manufacturing planning or sequencing
  • 3+ years of cross-functional and/or global project leadership experience
  • Strong analytical and planning skills, with the ability to interpret sequencing data and related production interfaces (production, specification, quality)
  • Hands-on knowledge of sequencing systems, including system architecture and production integration
  • Experience with Agile project management methodologies
  • Proficiency in structured problem-solving tools and techniques
