About The Position

Lithia & Driveway is seeking a Performance Analyst to support regional operational leadership through data analysis, financial insights, and performance reporting. The analyst partners with OVPs, General Managers, and other senior leaders to inform business decisions across locations in New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia. The role requires autonomy, confident communication with leadership, and the ability to turn large volumes of data into actionable recommendations. It is operationally focused and fast-paced, with flexibility beyond a traditional 9-to-5 schedule to support business needs, reporting cycles, and ad hoc leadership requests. Regular travel is required, up to 45% of the time. The target hiring range is $65,000–$85,000. The stated full compensation range is $60,000–$85,000, with actual compensation determined by factors including experience, skills, job-related knowledge, and geographic location. Candidates must be high school graduates or equivalent and at least 18 years old. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Analytics, or a related field is also listed as a qualification. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in data, financial, or operational analysis.
Strong analytical skills, including experience working with high-volume data, identifying trends, and presenting actionable insights.
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
High school graduate or equivalent and at least 18 years old.

Automotive, retail, dealership, or similar operational industry experience.

Responsibilities

Analyze dealer financial statements and operational performance data to support business evaluations and investment opportunities.
Conduct research, trend analysis, and financial modeling to identify risks, opportunities, and performance improvement initiatives.
Prepare proformas, forecasts, and ROI analyses for acquisitions and operational investments.
Partner with regional operational leaders, providing reporting, insights, and recommendations that drive business results.
Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate performance trends to senior leadership.
Perform market assessments and competitive analysis using internal and external data sources.
Support acquisition integration by transitioning performance expectations and reporting structures into ongoing operational management.
Assist with month-end reporting, financial audits, ad hoc analyses, and special projects.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, automate workflows, and enhance data quality.
