About The Position

The Regional Office Manager serves as the operational leader of the KIPP Atlanta Regional Support Team office and is responsible for creating a highly organized, welcoming, and efficient workplace environment for staff and visitors. Reporting to the Director of Special Projects for Operations, this role manages the day-to-day operations of the regional office, oversees administrative systems, and ensures the office operates smoothly, safely, and in alignment with organizational standards. The Regional Office Manager also partners closely with executive assistants, school front office teams, and regional departments to ensure strong coordination, communication, and operational consistency across the organization. This role combines strong operational management with excellent customer service, creating a professional and joyful experience for staff, partners, and visitors while ensuring systems and processes operate efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in office management, operations coordination, or executive administrative support.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex office systems and administrative operations.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (especially Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Commitment to professionalism, service, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the regional office, ensuring a welcoming, organized, and professional workplace environment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, vendors, and external stakeholders interacting with the regional office.
  • Maintain office norms and expectations that promote professionalism, collaboration, and a joyful workplace culture.
  • Manage conference room scheduling, shared workspaces, and meeting logistics to ensure efficient office use.
  • Oversee office supply inventory, equipment maintenance, and procurement processes.
  • Ensure cleanliness, safety, and security of the office through effective vendor coordination and building management.
  • Serve as the regional office Safety Coordinator, maintaining emergency preparedness plans and coordinating safety drills.
  • Develop and implement systems and documentation to ensure operational efficiency (e.g., SOPs, guides, checklists).
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding logistics for employees assigned to the regional office.
  • Maintain office calendars, shared resources, and communication systems that support organizational coordination.
  • Manage regional office administrative systems including vendor accounts, subscriptions, and office service contracts.
  • Maintain and monitor regional office budget allocations, ensuring responsible stewardship of resources.
  • Process purchasing, invoices, and expense submissions in accordance with Finance Team policies and procedures.
  • Manage vendor accounts and operational systems used by the Support Team (e.g., catering platforms, storage vendors, transportation services).
  • Ensure accurate tracking and documentation of office expenses and operational deliverables.
  • Partner with the Finance Team to ensure compliance with organizational purchasing and reimbursement procedures.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for Executive Leadership Team meetings and events as needed.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, travel arrangements, and scheduling support for leadership initiatives.
  • Assist with preparation of presentations, correspondence, and internal communications when required.
  • Support planning and logistics for leadership retreats, regional meetings, and cross-departmental events.
  • Maintain coordination with executive assistants and key administrative partners across the organization.
  • Provide project management support for operational initiatives led by the Director of Special Projects for Operations.
  • Assist with implementation of cross-functional projects related to transportation, facilities coordination, or regional initiatives.
  • Support additional operational priorities as assigned.

  • The salary range for this role is $60,000- $110,000 and is based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
  • Most new hires are placed in the lower to mid-range of the salary range.
  • Placement near the top of the range is uncommon at hire and reserved for individuals who exceed role qualifications through depth of expertise, leadership maturity, and proven results leading complex initiatives with sustained, organization-level impact.
