About The Position

Productsup is looking for an experienced Freelance Marketing Manager (part-time) to support our Berlin-based Senior Marketing Manager for four months, mid-June to mid-October 2026. You’d be playing a key role in executing integrated marketing programs, both online and in-person events, partnership marketing and demand generation efforts for the North American market. The role involves localizing and leveraging global marketing programs, creating brand awareness, and driving pipeline conversion for the North American market. The manager will get to know the marketing and sales teams and main stakeholders, develop a strong understanding of the goals and initiatives key to success in the North American region, and support building and executing high-impact localized campaigns and events. They will also maintain and track event calendars, project plans, and reports, align North American marketing initiatives with central marketing resources, report pipeline targets and brand awareness metrics, and monitor and analyze campaign performance and event feedback.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of field marketing experience in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Degree in marketing, corporate communications, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in event management is a must.
  • Work independently and be able to plan and deliver against hard deadlines while managing several projects in an effective manner
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in using marketing analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness and make data-driven decisions
  • Tech-savvy and data-focused with a solid understanding of the online marketing and/or ecommerce industries
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in organizing retail, marketing, or tech events, like Shoptalk, NRF, eTail, etc., is a bonus
  • Experience with marketing automation software (e.g., HubSpot, Qlik, and Salesforce) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support building and executing high-impact localized campaigns and events for the North American market in partnership with key stakeholders to achieve KPIs, with a focus on pipeline generation and account expansion for our sales team
  • Maintain and track event calendars, project plans, and reports, and communicate updates and results to relevant teams and management
  • Align North American marketing initiatives with the various central marketing resources: corporate communications, marketing programs, digital/social, and design
  • Report the pipeline targets (MQL, SAL, SQL, opportunities) and brand awareness metrics
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance and event feedback, and provide insights and recommendations for improvement
