Our Regional Managers are responsible for overseeing the operations, management, and growth of a specific region, ensuring the smooth functioning of business activities, and achieving company goals within that region.
Requirements
- Construction and leadership experience required
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar industry-specific software
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related business field preferred but not required - or a combination of a related education (associate degree in skilled trade) and in-depth experience in electrical construction, automation, or industrial engineering)
- Demonstrated experience in managing projects within key industries such as food processing, energy facilities, water/wastewater plants or similar industrial environments preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day regional office activities within a specific region
- Foster and maintain a strong safety-first culture in both office and site environments
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures across office and field operations within the region
- Drive operational excellence ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures in each office
- Develop and mentor regional staff
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and guide development
- Collaborate for Business Development to execute sales strategies for the region
- Monitor market trends and competitors, adjusting strategies, as necessary
- Manage and track regional budgets and expenditures
- Monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures
- Oversee project delivery in the region to deliver high quality work within scope and budget
- Coordinate with cross function teams to define project scopes, timelines, and resource allocations, ensuring efficient project execution
- Build client relations within a region to support regional growth and enhance the Interstates portfolio for future opportunities
- Analyze performance data to identify opportunities for improvement or growth
- Oversee recruitment needs and staffing levels to meet operational needs in the region
