Regional Manager of Affordable Housing Communities
About The Position
Carteret Management Corporation is hiring a Regional Manager to lead performance across a portfolio of affordable housing communities in Central Florida. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to support operational success, regulatory compliance, and positive resident experiences. The Regional Manager partners with on-site teams to elevate performance, optimize operations, and strengthen communities, while advancing Carteret’s values of customer service, communication, and competency. The company manages more than 5,000 apartment homes across Florida and has worked in affordable housing since 1971.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Regional Manager, or at least 10 years as an on-site Property Manager with relevant certifications (TCS, COS, HCCP, CP3, NAHP, or equivalent).
- Expertise in Fair Housing and Landlord-Tenant laws.
- Willingness to travel.
- Proven leadership in multi-site property management.
- Deep knowledge of affordable housing programs and compliance.
- Strong operational and financial management skills.
- Passion for developing teams and improving communities.
