About The Position

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes. DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Regional Manager, Strategic Customers, DS, located in Quebec. This role is responsible for the overall management of large Hospital Systems and Procurement customers for DS in Canada. It involves developing and maintaining high-level stakeholder relationships, building overarching tender strategies for the business unit to ensure successful outcomes from regional tender bids, and driving the adoption of key internal commercial transformation initiatives in the region. The role also includes implementing strategic initiatives and maintaining local relationships with stakeholders (e.g., NHSF channel, robotics and AI).

Requirements

  • University Bachelor’s degree
  • 6-8 years of Sales Leadership &/or Key Account Management
  • Industry knowledge
  • Canadian Procurement knowledge
  • People Management (at least 5 years)
  • Building cross-sector Partnerships
  • Engaging High-level stakeholders
  • French and English bilingualism to support customers in both languages

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall management of large Hospital Systems and Procurement customers for DS in Canada.
  • Develop and maintain high level stakeholder relationships within Hospitals.
  • Build overarching tender strategies for the business unit to ensure successful outcomes from regional tender bids.
  • Responsible for adoption of key internal commercial transformation initiatives in the region.
  • Responsible for implementing strategic initiatives in the region and maintaining local relationships with stakeholders (e.g. NHSF channel, robotics and AI).
  • Establish strategic relationships at targeted hospitals and support Head of Sales and field force to attain revenue growth goals.
  • Ensure 100% success rate on bid strategies.
  • Proactively plan Orthopedics bid strategies and maintain funnel of prospects.
  • Effectively drive growth from regional opportunities, like NHSF (ASC).
  • Build stakeholder relationships outside hospitals, including but not limited to policy, payers, and industry associations to enable funding pathways for innovations.
  • Lead Commercial Transformation initiatives (CXM, for example) & coordinate with global leaders for resources and guidance.
  • Support Sales initiatives within region.
  • Provide input for annual business plans.
  • Support Sales Enablement teams on processes for commercial approvals.
