About The Position

Zurich is seeking a Regional Income Development Executive to support sales efforts in NY state, specifically the upstate and western areas, potentially including parts of neighboring states. The ideal candidate should reside within the territory. Zurich Direct Markets focuses on providing Finance & Insurance (F&I) products to the automotive industry through a dedicated sales force that engages directly with customers. This role involves cultivating relationships, driving production in current accounts, and seeking referrals for new F&I business within Large Franchised Automotive Dealers. The executive will also support performance and key initiatives to enhance growth and profitability through dealership training and development. Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders is crucial for maintaining relationships. The role requires attending industry events to promote Zurich's marketing efforts, understanding and adapting to customer IT requirements, and gaining internal support. The position offers a work-from-home, entrepreneurial environment, a competitive base salary with an uncapped incentive plan, and excellent benefits, including a company car (subject to a driving record check).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the sales area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the sales area
  • All candidates are subject to a driving record check

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate relationships and assist in driving production in current accounts and obtaining referrals for new F&I business opportunities in the Large Franchised Automotive Dealers space
  • Support performance and key initiatives to help drive growth and profitability through ongoing training and development within the dealerships
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders via the relevant medium – e-mail/intranet/newsletter to maintain good relationships.
  • Attend conferences, seminars, training events and other meetings to promote Zurich’s marketing efforts, as needed
  • Understand and respond to changing technology/IT requirements of customer accounts and gain internal buy-in to maintain good relationships.
