Regional Growth Leader - Mid-Atlantic
About The Position
The primary purpose of the role is to build relationships with utilities to enable our growth efforts with municipal utilities for water, wastewater and bio solids O&M opportunities. The role involves building strong relationships with utility leaders and community leaders in strategic growth regions, promoting Veolia's values, Private Public Partnership contracting, and contract operations. The position requires identifying and aligning Veolia’s offerings with key utility challenges, coordinating proposal efforts and RFP response activities, managing reporting for commercial activities, and collaborating with regional leadership and technical resources. The role also includes managing the internal corporate and compliance approval process for opportunities. Travel is required at least 75% of the time within the region, which may include both local and overnight travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Self-starter.
- Results focused mindset.
- Strong customer relationship/management skills.
- Technical knowledge of water and wastewater industry.
- Highly organized and structured - able to follow a standard process.
- Able to work collaboratively across different functions and help colleagues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Contracting with Utilities and Private Public Partnership experience preferred.
- Water utility experience preferred.
Responsibilities
