About The Position

The primary purpose of the role is to build relationships with utilities to enable our growth efforts with municipal utilities for water, wastewater and bio solids O&M opportunities. This involves promoting Veolia's values, Private Public Partnership contracting, and contract operations to communities. The role requires identifying and aligning Veolia’s offerings with key utility challenges, coordinating proposal efforts and RFP response activities, managing reporting for commercial activities, and collaborating with regional leadership and technical resources. Additionally, the position involves managing the internal corporate and compliance approval process for opportunities. Travel is required at least 75% of the time, which may include local and overnight travel within the region.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.
Self-starter.
Results focused mindset.
Strong customer relationship/management skills.
Technical knowledge of water and wastewater industry.
Highly organized and structured - able to follow a standard process.
Able to work collaboratively across different functions and help colleagues.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Contracting with Utilities and Private Public Partnership experience preferred.
Water utility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Build strong relationships with utility leaders and community leaders in strategic growth regions.
Promote the values of Veolia, Private Public Partnership contracting and contract operations to communities.
Identify and align Veolia’s offerings and value with key utility challenges.
Coordinate and lead proposal efforts and RFP response activities.
Manage reporting for all commercial activities for key contracts.
Work collaboratively with regional VP, site leadership, Technical &Performance resources.
Manage the internal corporate and compliance approval process for opportunities.
