About The Position

New Virginia Majority is hiring a Regional Field Director to manage its paid voter outreach programs. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter. This position reports to the Statewide Field Director and Political Director.

Requirements

Goal-oriented with field organizing or electoral organizing experience.
Strong leadership skills and experience managing a large staff.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Minimum 2 years of experience managing a successful field team.
Proficiency in spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, and related software.
Ability to work irregular/long hours at peak times.
Ability to meet goals on deadline.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Alignment with NVM’s ideology and goals.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge and experience using VAN and similar voter outreach tools.

Responsibilities

Recruiting, training, and managing a team of leads and canvassers to meet yearly voter outreach goals.
Maintaining consistent reporting and quality data stewardship.
Implementing quality control practices in regional programs.
Managing schedules and employee time.
Promoting leadership and alignment with NVM's values.
Maintaining an overall positive, professional staff culture.
