Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage engineering operations across a designated regional portfolio, ensuring optimal performance, compliance, and client satisfaction while driving operational excellence and team development.
  • Support day-to-day engineering operations across multiple properties in the region
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and codes
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and standard operating procedures
  • Monitor and optimize energy management systems and sustainability initiatives
  • Coordinate emergency response procedures and business continuity planning
  • Support after-hour/weekend shutdowns and have a willingness to travel
  • Foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and technical excellence
  • Serve as primary engineering contact for clients and property management teams
  • Participate in client meetings and provide technical expertise and recommendations
  • Respond to and resolve complex engineering issues and tenant concerns
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers
  • Develop and manage regional engineering budgets and capital expenditure plans
  • Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers
  • Prepare financial reports and variance analysis
  • Provide technical guidance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and building automation systems
  • Oversee capital projects and system upgrades
  • Conduct building assessments and recommend improvements
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
  • Ensure all work meets JLL standards and client requirements
  • Conduct regular property inspections and audits
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting systems
  • Implement and monitor safety protocols and training programs
