About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Regional Director of Operations for an exciting opportunity in Elmhurst, IL. This role involves leading multi-site healthcare operations across Sterile Processing Department (SPD), Transportation, and Facilities. The position requires overseeing and mentoring site-level directors, managers, and coordinators, setting regional performance goals, and ensuring operational alignment with key regulatory standards.
Requirements
- 10+ years operational experience required
- 5+ years multi-site leadership experience required
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards (AAMI, CDC, CMS, DOT, OSHA)
- Experience managing SPD, logistics, or facilities operations
- Bachelor’s degree required
- CRCST or equivalent certification preferred
Nice To Haves
- Master’s preferred

Responsibilities
- Lead multi-site healthcare operations across SPD, Transportation, and Facilities
- Oversee and mentor site-level directors, managers, and coordinators
- Set regional performance goals and ensure operational alignment
- Ensure compliance with AAMI, CDC, CMS, DOT, OSHA, and accreditation standards
- Standardize workflows, documentation, and operational processes
- Monitor regional performance metrics and drive corrective actions
- Lead continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
- Manage talent development, succession planning, and leadership coaching
- Collaborate with cross-functional and executive leadership teams
