About The Position

Care Initiatives, Iowa's largest nonprofit senior care provider, is seeking a compassionate Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) with experience in dual-site LNHA, area administration, or prior Regional Director of Operations (RDO) experience. As an RDO, you will invest in site-level Administrators to support their successes, growth, and development. Care Initiatives operates over forty skilled nursing communities, seven hospice offices, and an internal staffing agency, all committed to providing exceptional care and support.

Requirements

  • Current Nursing Home Administrator license (with the ability to activate within the state of Iowa).
  • Minimum of five (5) years LNHA experience.
  • Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, including a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • Dual site LNHA, area Administrator, or prior Regional Director of Operations (RDO) experience.
  • 2+ years of regional operations leadership.
  • Experience working within both urban and rural markets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an understanding of the importance of developing effective, long-lasting, partnerships and relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the leadership, growth, and profitability of assigned skilled nursing communities.
  • Guide and motivate a regional team within a matrix reporting structure.
  • Offer administrative leadership, guidance, and consulting expertise.
  • Plan, develop, and oversee operational and fiscal activities for assigned skilled nursing communities to ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Foster and maintain positive interactive partnerships with community leadership teams.
  • Travel extensively within the assigned region, including visiting skilled nursing communities and other meetings, averaging 4-5 days of travel per week.
