ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Lead implementation of domestic ground transportation solutions (LTL, FTL, final mile, brokerage, parcel). Serve as executive point of contact during onboarding for ground accounts. Develop detailed implementation plans covering pricing alignment, carrier procurement, routing guide development, EDI/API integration, reporting configuration, and SOP creation. Coordinate cross-functional teams including operations, IT, carrier relations, finance, and sales to ensure smooth launch. Identify operational risks specific to domestic ground networks and proactively mitigate issues prior to go-live. Establish KPIs for service, cost, and carrier performance Drive post-launch stabilization and conduct formal implementation review assessing operational, financial, and service performance. Standardize ground implementation processes and documentation to drive scalability and repeatability. Escalate and resolve client, operational or carrier-related service issues during transition and early lifecycle. Other duties as assigned. OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES Deep knowledge of U.S. ground transportation markets, including LTL classifications, FTL spot and contract markets, parcel carrier structures, and brokerage operations. Strong understanding of domestic carrier capacity cycles and pricing dynamics. Demonstrated success implementing multi-site domestic shipping programs. Financial acumen with ability to analyze margins, cost models, and network impact. Ability to drive accountability across operations and carrier management teams. Strong negotiation skills with carriers and customers. Ability to operate under tight implementation timelines without sacrificing service quality. Advanced proficiency in TMS platforms and Microsoft Office. Strong executive communication and presentation skills. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees and clients EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related field preferred. Minimum 7–10 years' experience in U.S. domestic ground transportation. Minimum 5 years leadership experience managing implementation or operational teams. Experience working with LTL, FTL, brokerage, and parcel carriers required. Proven track record launching mid-to-large domestic ground accounts.
