About The Position

Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world! This role aligns the strategic financial plan locally by defining and outlining goals and activities. It involves conducting monthly and year-end closure actions, including the corresponding reporting. The position prepares the Annual Operating Plan, monitors budget deviations, develops Key Performance Indicators, and coordinates improvement initiatives. It also oversees the investment planning process and runs the Investment Evaluation Analysis. The role monitors and ensures legal and financial compliance, manages the Controlling structure of the location and/or legal entity, and contributes to developing tools aimed at improving financial accuracy. Additionally, it coordinates and monitors the fulfillment of all legal and internal requirements regarding Health, Safety, and Environment. The role leads by example in line with the Freudenberg Guiding Principles and the Code of Conduct, while developing employees, driving Talent Acquisition and Management processes, and fostering a proactive work culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of standard cost accounting systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Well-organized, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Professional-Level English language skills preferred
  • experience with QAD/Manufacturing Pro is a plus.
  • Willingness to relocate and travel as required.
