About The Position

The Controlling Analyst performs financial analysis and standard reporting for their area of responsibility, including planning, forecasting, and actual reporting, with a focus on operational controlling. The role supports monthly financial statements and close activities, analyzes inventory, cost of goods sold, and variances, and maintains inventory and standard costing processes. It also prepares management reporting and supports budgeting, projections, internal controls, and corporate reporting requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
Two or more years of professional experience in accounting, finance, and/or controlling functions.
Experience in product costing.
Advanced knowledge of the MS Office package.
Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
Experience working with international teams on production topics and understanding of foreign cultures.
Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in English.

Nice To Haves

Experience with SAP S/4 HANA.

Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
Support the monthly close process.
Assess monthly inventory, cost of goods sold, and variance analysis.
Maintain perpetual inventory and monitor cycle counts.
Manage and maintain the standard cost system.
Prepare cost quotes for new product sales.
Review and resolve inaccuracies in daily reporting.
Analyze the cost accounting structure and its components to produce quality information for management decisions.
Prepare monthly scorecard data and ratios for management.
Establish and maintain internal controls.
Assist with the budgeting and projection process.
Ensure compliance with corporate reporting requirements and deadlines.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
