Regional Controller- Waste Pro Georgia

Waste Pro•Doraville, GA

About The Position

Waste Pro is seeking an experienced Regional Controller to provide financial leadership and strategic business support across multiple operating divisions in Georgia and North Carolina. This role serves as the primary financial business partner to the Regional Vice President, Division Managers, and Corporate Leadership. It is not a traditional accounting role: the Regional Controller partners with operations and leadership to improve profitability, drive performance, support acquisitions, and influence business decisions. The role requires an understanding of waste-industry operations, including route profitability, municipal and franchise agreements, fleet operations, disposal costs, capital planning, pricing strategies, acquisitions, and operational performance metrics. The Regional Controller oversees regional financial and accounting activities, supports operational and strategic planning, and leads and develops regional accounting personnel. Travel is required to support locations across North Carolina and Georgia, with additional periodic travel for corporate meetings, conferences, training, and planning. The posting states that travel is expected to be 50%, primarily within the defined territory. Waste Pro describes itself as a rapidly growing privately owned waste and recycling company serving communities throughout the Southeast. It emphasizes safety, customer service, innovation, operational excellence, employee development, and promotion from within.
