Lead independently. Think broadly. Build the future of the North. This is more than a consulting role, it is your chance to help build and shape WSP’s northern presence from the ground up. Based in Iqaluit, this opportunity is ideal for a resilient, self‑directed professional who is motivated by purpose, relationships, and long‑term impact. You won’t be stepping into a fully defined role or a mature structure, instead, you’ll help define how we show up, how we partner, and how we grow in Nunavut. From day one, you’ll operate with a high degree of autonomy, acting as a trusted representative of WSP across the region. You’ll work alongside Indigenous communities, clients, and partners, earning trust through consistency, listening, and delivery - not titles or hierarchy. Your influence will come from how you show up, how you collaborate, and how effectively you connect local priorities with WSP’s national expertise. This role is especially well‑suited to someone who enjoys building before leading formally, someone energized by shaping approaches, developing relationships, identifying opportunities, and laying the groundwork for future growth. While you may not manage people initially, you’ll have real ownership: helping establish presence, inform strategy, and contribute to how our team and services evolve in the North over time. You’ll work across disciplines and projects, adapt your technical strengths to meet diverse needs, and play a key role in expanding WSP’s ability to support communities in ways that are respectful, sustainable, and community‑informed. It’s a rare opportunity to combine professional growth, personal adventure, and meaningful contribution, all while helping shape the future of northern consulting at WSP.
