About The Position

The Regional Construction Manager is responsible to oversee and manage, day to day operations of all project activities and staff. Honed management skills are mandatory and will reflect a take control / ownership approach to all who work under your responsibility.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the mechanical construction industry, including 5+ years in a management or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, and deliverable management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple project types simultaneously within a matrix organization.
  • Effective written and verbal communicator with the ability to present to management.
  • Experience leading multifunctional teams and conducting performance management.
  • Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, margin analysis, invoicing, and revenue tracking.
  • Highly process‑driven, detail‑oriented, and organized with strong scheduling abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Demonstrates strong work ethic, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively across teams and committees.
  • Sound judgment with the ability to make timely, well‑reasoned decisions.
  • Flexible and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee construction unit P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and performance targets.
  • Ensure contractual compliance and maintain strong customer and partner communication.
  • Manage field performance across scope, cost, safety, quality, schedule, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure efficient project delivery and provide on‑site construction oversight.
  • Report project status and performance metrics to management.
  • Review and validate labour, material, and subcontractor costs.
  • Support and verify all project closeout requirements.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers on materials, scope, and documentation accuracy.
  • Ensure all construction work meets customer specifications and required documentation standards.
  • Oversee procurement, material tracking, permitting, inspections, and code compliance.
  • Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental policies and Quality System procedures.
  • Prepare internal and external job‑status reports.
  • Proactively resolve issues and manage business risks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Management.
  • Manage and supervise field crews for assigned client projects, including hiring, performance reviews, coaching, discipline, and terminations.
  • Build strong employee relations and support the development and growth of the team.
  • Ensure field crews have the appropriate staffing levels and skill sets to meet project demands.
  • Direct and oversee Field Construction Leads, Project Managers, and assigned staff.
  • Coordinate and schedule multiple crews across multiple job sites.
