About The Position

Sonida Senior Living is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse leader to provide strategic clinical leadership and support multiple assisted living and memory care communities across South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Massachusetts, and Tennessee. The role is remote, and the employee must reside in South Carolina. Frequent travel by automobile and airplane, including overnight travel, is required.

The Regional Clinical Director provides clinical leadership, operational oversight, and regulatory guidance to communities in the assigned region. The role supports clinical excellence, survey readiness, quality outcomes, risk management, and leadership development. The director partners with Executive Directors, Wellness Directors, and Operations leaders to elevate resident care, strengthen clinical performance, and develop future clinical leaders. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, influential nurse leader who coaches others and is committed to exceptional, resident-centered care.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• South Carolina RN license required.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical leadership experience in assisted living, memory care, long-term care, senior housing, or post-acute care.
• Demonstrated success developing and mentoring nursing and clinical leaders.
• Strong working knowledge of assisted living regulations, survey readiness, and quality improvement processes.
• Experience leading clinical audits, compliance initiatives, and performance improvement projects.
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and coaching skills.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned region, including overnight travel.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently by automobile and commercial airline.
• Must reside in South Carolina.

Nice To Haves

• Multistate compact RN licensure preferred.
• Multi-site leadership experience strongly preferred.
