About The Position

Capitol Distributing is hiring reliable Class A CDL Relief Drivers to support store deliveries across nine states. The position offers a consistent work schedule and a career path in a growing company. Drivers cover local routes, shuttles, team routes, and overnight assignments. About 20% of the work is local and 80% is regional or overnight, so flexibility is important. Schedules are four to five days per week, with day, evening, and night shifts of 10–12 hours.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Clean driving record, with three or fewer points in the last 12 months.
• Current DOT medical certificate.
• Doubles endorsement, or ability to obtain one within 60 days.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including days, nights, and weekends.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in hot or cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries, beverages, and convenience items to stores across nine states.
• Drive trailers carrying frozen, refrigerated, and dry goods.
• Offload freight using pallet jacks, hand carts, and totes.
• Track inventory using scanners and follow delivery logs.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Occasionally assist with emergency coverage routes.
• Follow DOT, FMCSA, and company safety standards.
