About The Position
Drive for a dedicated Smithfield fleet on regional routes throughout North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Washington, District of Columbia. The position offers no-touch freight and weekly home time for a 34-hour reset. Night driving and weekend availability are required. Drivers use automatic-transmission trucks with 53-foot trailers, with on-site office and maintenance support available. Average pay is $1,512 per week (approximately $78,624 per year), with top weekly pay of $1,763 (approximately $91,676 per year). Compensation includes mileage pay, detention pay, and a Safe and On-Time weekly bonus of up to 3% additional pay.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- No SAP drivers.
- Clean driving record.
- DOT Medical card.
- Able to work weekends.
- Reliable and safety-focused.
Responsibilities
- Drive regional routes across North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Washington, District of Columbia.
