About The Position

Elevate is seeking a Regional Business Manager (RBM) to lead revenue, market share, and profit growth for a regional territory for Elevate and Genflex. The RBM will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, goals, and incentives to foster a strong sales force. This role will cover the Southwest region, including California, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico, promoting Elevate’s low-slope roofing product line. The RBM will collaborate with various sales leadership and personnel to achieve annual revenue, square foot, and contribution margin goals. Key responsibilities include assessing local sales channels, providing sales call assistance, developing business plans for territories, ensuring sales representatives have necessary resources and training, participating in management meetings, and actively contributing to the closure of large jobs and conversion of large customers. The use of Salesforce (CRM) is critical for tracking projects and forecasting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 8 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in the commercial roofing industry.
  • At least 5 years of management or leadership experience.
  • A motivated self-starter.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (CRM) for tracking projects and providing forecasting information.

Responsibilities

  • Develop regional business plans that drive share growth across all target markets and product categories.
  • Execute regional activities consistent with Elevate's strategic direction.
  • Formulate a Regional Sales Plan incorporating strategies and programs with short- and long-term goals for each target market and key customer.
  • Create an accurate forecast for the region and key accounts, providing meaningful insights on customer and market performance using Salesforce.
  • Manage Sales Reps within the market, driving compliance and desired performance across all product categories.
  • Monitor and communicate business trends, distribution patterns, consumer and trade attitudes, competitive practices, and product performance to senior leadership.
  • Foster an environment of accountability, embrace change management, and lead by example.
  • Participate/attend sales meetings, customer events, trade shows, and group exhibitor meetings.
  • Actively participate with the closure of large projects/jobs and converting strategic customers.
  • Ensure independent Sales Reps and Account Manager(s) have resources, skills, and training to succeed.
  • Assess local sales channels by monitoring contractors, services, pricing, competitors, and market positioning.
  • Provide sales call assistance and assist with drafting and implementing a business development plan for each territory.
  • Participate in all appropriate management meetings and conduct regularly scheduled regional sales meetings.
