About The Position

EPIARX Diagnostics is a growing private pathology practice specializing in independent autopsy and pathology services. They help families, attorneys, healthcare professionals, and communities obtain answers during difficult moments by providing clarity, truth, documentation, and peace of mind. As they expand across the Mid-Atlantic region, they are seeking a high-performing Regional Business Development Manager to build and strengthen referral partnerships. This is a relationship-building role focused on earning, maintaining, and converting trust into long-term professional partnerships, rather than a transactional sales role. The relationships built will directly impact families seeking answers, healthcare professionals looking for trusted resources, and organizations searching for reliable independent pathology services. The role involves creating the referral infrastructure for EPIARX's growth while representing a mission-driven healthcare organization with professionalism, compassion, and integrity.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of business development, partnership development, account management, provider relations, or relationship-based sales experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage pipeline activity.
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout the DMV and Mid-Atlantic region.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and managing referral relationships throughout the DMV and Mid-Atlantic region, including funeral homes, hospitals and healthcare organizations, medical malpractice law firms, professional associations, community organizations, and strategic referral partners.
  • Identifying and developing new referral partnerships.
  • Strengthening existing referral relationships.
  • Conducting in-person meetings and networking activities.
  • Representing EPIARX at industry events and conferences.
  • Managing and improving CRM data integrity.
  • Building and maintaining an active referral pipeline.
  • Tracking partnership activity and outcomes.
  • Collaborating with leadership on growth initiatives.
  • Creating visibility into business development performance and opportunities.
