About The Position

Rehmann is seeking a Regional Billing Specialist to join their team. This role is crucial in collaborating with advisors to maximize client invoice amounts, manage Work In Process (WIP), and ensure timely and accurate client billing. The specialist will prepare billing details, generate reports, and communicate with various stakeholders to support the billing process. Additionally, the role involves monitoring Accounts Receivable (A/R) management and recording engagement letter fee arrangements. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of billing experience; professional services billing preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects, manage time, and leverage technology effectively.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, summarize, and provide recommendations.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and sound judgment in making decisions.
  • Unwavering integrity at all times.
  • Confidence in working with advisors at all levels in the firm.
  • Professional image, maturity, self-confidence, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with advisors to maximize client invoice amounts.
  • Work efficiently to complete client billing.
  • Effectively manage Work In Process (WIP).
  • Prepare billing detail and WIP analysis for review with billers.
  • Generate workflow reports to identify completed jobs for billing analysis.
  • Prepare and approve invoices for delivery to clients.
  • Communicate with advisors, Regional Managing Principals, and Administrative Services team to ensure timely billing.
  • Discuss proposed billing amounts with advisors to increase billing amounts appropriately.
  • Discover additional work completed beyond scope and bring it to the advisor’s attention.
  • Understand industry terminology to accurately identify and describe services provided.
  • Collaborate with advisors to increase billing performance metrics.
  • Demonstrate exceptional time management skills using Outlook calendar to effectively manage the billing process by scheduling meetings with advisors, advance report preparation, and dedicating post-meeting time to complete work.
  • Monitor and support A/R management.
  • Track and report progress on A/R.
  • Work directly with advisors and Collections Manager as necessary to facilitate timely payments.
  • Record engagement letter fee arrangements.
  • Ensure other associates, supervisors, and clients are informed of progress and significant developments.
