About The Position

This position coordinates and provides support for the Region Director in the areas of communications, scheduling, reporting, and administration. The goal is to allow the Region Director the time needed to travel extensively while providing support to their Region. The position acts as the central communications point for the Region and networks as needed with minimal supervision from the Region Director.

Requirements

  • Must be proactive and responsive to all issues and concerns.
  • Should have at least 5 years in AmeriGas and understand the various district operations.
  • High School Diploma plus ability on all office equipment.
  • Computer skills at an intermediate level using Microsoft office products.
  • 5+ years in a fast-paced business operation or similar office setting.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the Office Supervisor for the Region Director.
  • Answers, reviews, and handles all incoming calls, e-mails, and daily mail with appropriate response.
  • Creates, maintains, and updates the Region Director’s monthly scheduling calendar, including conference calls, report due dates, meeting schedules, and upcoming events.
  • Processes a variety of reports, manages the dispenser file for each district, maintains records of monthly safety meetings, compiles meeting information, sends out notices for expiring DOT physicals and driver's licenses, compiles and completes weekly Contribution Margin reports, contacts managers for random Drug & Alcohol testing, maintains the pricing book for all districts, reviews expense reports, processes payables for the Regional office, assists in annual budgets and spreadsheets, and maintains petty cash.
  • Supports districts in Human Resources, Sales, Safety, and other areas as needed, including sending out monthly review calendars, reviewing new hire packets, typing bids and letters for Sales Reps, creating flyers for sales incentives, setting up safety committee conference calls, maintaining training records, completing payouts for the Region Safety Award Program, assisting managers with project support, backing up district CRRs, and assisting employees with questions related to insurance, policies, or practices.
