About The Position

The Refurbishing Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repair responsibilities on fountain equipment and vending machines used in retail outlets and efficiently preparing them for market readiness which meet company standards. This role involves performing diversified duties focused on troubleshooting equipment and machines, performing repair tasks, and efficiently ensuring equipment is market-ready and available. The technician will track parts and equipment, diagnose and troubleshoot routine and non-routine equipment failures, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments. They will also apply decals, faceplates, and other cosmetic details to meet company standards, read and interpret equipment service manuals and work orders, and perform regular preventive maintenance. The use of various hand and power tools is required, along with adherence to all safety regulations and maintaining a clean work area. The role also requires professional customer interaction and maintaining a neat appearance to represent the company and the Coca-Cola brand image. Ethical conduct is expected at all times.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED.
1-2 years of previous mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
Strong mechanical and technical capacity.
Ability to troubleshoot and quickly resolve problems within assigned timeline.
Ability to disassemble and reassemble.
Ability to read, interpret, and follow service directions and work orders; follow all standard operating procedures and safety requirements/protocols.
Good verbal and pleasant communication skills to interact with customers.
Provide professional contact and appearance with customers which upholds Atlantic Bottlings brand image.
Strong problem resolution and analytical thinking skills.
Customer-focused and an excellent team-player.
Ability to analyze and effectively solve complex problems, while dealing with stressful situations.
Flexible with the ability to adapt to varying situations.
Regular attendance is required.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The ability to climb stairs is also needed.
The role is considered a safety sensitive position.
