About The Position
Sanford Health is hiring a Referral Specialist for the Roger Maris Cancer Center. The role provides administrative support and coordinates activities for specific teams. Duties may include answering telephone calls, taking messages, and answering routine questions. The Referral Specialist composes, types, and distributes meeting notes, routine correspondence, presentations, billing, reimbursement, and monthly reports. The role also maintains vacation schedules and department schedules, orders and dispenses supplies, and may perform payroll functions, maintain company policy and procedure manuals, and keep those manuals current.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Applicable experience preferred.
- Depending on facility needs, may require a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support and coordinate activities for specific teams.

- Maintain vacation schedules and manage department schedules.
- Order and dispense supplies.
- May maintain timekeeping information and process and submit it to payroll.
- May maintain master copies of company policy and procedure manuals and keep them up to date.
