About The Position

Marcus Theatres is hiring a part-time cook for its Culinary Team. The cook prepares and presents food while providing exceptional guest service in a high-volume, fast-paced, team-focused kitchen. The role includes kitchen and station setup, advance preparation, cooking to recipes, maintaining food quality and sanitation, keeping work areas organized and stocked, following management direction, and helping control food waste. Starting pay is $17.50.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of kitchen equipment and food items.
• Set up kitchen equipment.
• Set up and break down stations and complete necessary advance preparation.
• Read tickets to produce orders.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes.
• Maintain a high quality of food production and presentation.
• Maintain sanitation standards.
• Keep the line and preparation area organized, stocked, and clean.
• Follow direction from the management team and food and beverage leadership.
• Assist in controlling food waste.
