About The Position

Marcus Theatres is hiring a part-time cook for its Culinary Team. The cook works in a professional, state-of-the-art kitchen and helps prepare and serve food in a high-volume, fast-paced, team-focused environment. The role calls for a positive attitude, strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, a passion for food quality, and a commitment to exceptional guest service.

Starting pay is $17.50. Schedules may be flexible or set. Full-time associates working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits. Associates also receive a fully paid accelerated training program and free movies.

Responsibilities

• Know kitchen equipment and food items.
• Set up kitchen equipment.
• Set up and break down stations and complete necessary advance preparation.
• Read tickets and produce orders.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes.
• Maintain high standards for food production quality and presentation.
• Maintain sanitation standards.
• Keep the line and prep area organized, stocked, and clean.
• Follow directions from the management team and food and beverage leadership.
• Assist with controlling food waste.
