About The Position

The purpose of this role is to collect, verify, load, unload, and empty recyclable beverage containers, as well as bale aluminum and PET containers for recycling. This position involves driving to designated redemption centers along a scheduled route, counting and verifying collected materials, and providing reimbursement documentation. The specialist will also unload recyclable materials at the Company's recycling location, sort and separate materials, and bale aluminum cans and PET materials. Additionally, the role includes cleaning and maintaining the recycling shed and meeting productivity requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license.
• Valid pallet jack and/or forklift certification, as needed.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to safely operate all material-handling equipment.
• Consistent adherence to all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Working knowledge of applicable DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Collect, verify, load, unload, and empty recyclable beverage containers.
• Bale aluminum and PET containers for recycling.
• Drive to designated redemption centers along the scheduled route.
• Count and verify collected materials (bags) and provide reimbursement documentation to redemption center.
• Unload recyclable materials at Company's recycling location.
• Sort and separate materials into appropriate containers for recycling.
• Clean and maintain the interior and exterior areas of recycling shed.
• Meet established productivity requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
